Comic Blush has proved his worth on both the racetrack and as a stallion.

He broke his maiden as a three-year-old and won numerous allowance races during that year in addition to victories in the Flintlock Stakes at Philadelphia Park and Gravesend Handicap at Aqueduct.

He was rated at 118 pounds as the third best three-year-old of his generation behind Groovy and Badger Land, ahead of Broad Brush, Snow Chief and Danzig Connection.

As a four-year-old he won the Sporting Page Handicap at Aqueduct and an allowance at the Meadowlands.

Comic Blush is a son of Istria, who was a champion two-year-old filly in Germany.

As a stud, he is best known for siring Spook Express, the champion three-year-old filly of 1998 from South Africa who at one time was considered among the best turf fillies in North America.

Comic Blush ranks among the leading sires in South Africa.
